The Achieve Learning Center
The Achieve Learning Center is a Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) accredited preschool and kindergarten program for children ages 18 months to six years. An inclusive language-based program, the school serves children with hearing or speech/language impairments, as well as children without impairments. The goal of the Achieve Learning Center is to have every student, regardless of impairment, performing at or above age level in the areas of speech and language skills when they leave the program.
The Achieve Learning Center uses the Highreach curriculum, which aligns with the Tennessee Early Childhood Early Learning Developmental Standards adopted by the TDOE. This program equips children with pre-academic and academic skills necessary to be enrolled in a typical kindergarten or first grade elementary school setting.
Our certified teachers provide individualized learning approaches tailored to each student's needs, interests, and abilities. Additionally, the Brigance system is used to track each student's developmental and emotional-social growth. Speech and language group therapy, on-site individual speech therapy, and quarterly parent meetings and training are also offered.

Hours of Operation
Beginning August 17, 2009, hours of operation will be from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. These hours are also available during the summer, and reduced or "typical preschool" hours are also available.
Tuition
Tuition for non-impaired children attending for full days, Monday through Friday, is $100 per week. Parents of children who have a speech/language or hearing impairment may qualify for tuition remission. Costs for reduced hours/days vary.
